<p>Provided are an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program which can accurately carry out two-class discrimination using the output of a plurality of discriminators. A discriminator (21i) (i=1 to n) substitute the input vector x into a discrimination function fi(x) and outputs a scalar value yi. A mapper (22i) substitutes the scalar value yi supplied from the discriminator (21i) into a mapping function gi(yi) defined by a learning process to convert the scalar value yi supplied from the discriminator (21i) into a class existence probability Pi. A comparator (23) compares each of the class existence probabilities p1 to pn supplied from the respective mappers (221 to 22n) with a predetermined threshold to determine which class out of the two classes the class existence probability belongs to, and outputs "1" or "-1" as the result of determination. The present invention can be applied to, for example, an information processing devices which carries out two-class discrimination.</p> |
