<p>The method involves longitudinally and displaceably supporting a guide (3) in a plugging tool (2). The guide is detachably connected with a lift drive (5), and is adjustable in longitudinal direction. The lift drive of the guide is positioned in a front dead center at a predetermined reference position within a staying region of the plugging tool such that the guide is adjusted by a catch (10) relative to the lift drive in longitudinal direction. The catch is positioned before the plugging tool, and the guide and the lift drive are connected with each other. An independent claim is also included for a device for adjusting a tongue of a plugging tool of a brush tamping machine.</p> |
