PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation wire relatively inexpensive and superior in mechanical strength such as hardness and heat resistance, with an insulating coat having high corona discharge starting voltage. SOLUTION: The insulation wire comprises a conductor, and the insulating coat covering the conductor. The insulating coat has an insulating layer formed by applying and baking a mixed resin of polyester imide and polyether sulfone thereon.
