<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery alternative power generation unit which is compact and excellent in durability and uses a diaphragm including a piezoelectric element capable of generating electricity by actions of external vibration, pressure, or sound energy. <P>SOLUTION: The battery alternative power generation unit includes a housing in which an internal space is formed, a fixed wafer arranged in the housing, and a diaphragm in contact with the fixed wafer so that electric energy can be generated by external vibration, pressure, or sound energy. The diaphragm includes: a plurality of silicon wafers arranged on top of the fixed wafer at a regular interval, formed in a rectangular and a round shape, brought into direct contact with the fixed wafer, and formed integrally with a mass element; upper- and lower-part electrodes on top of the silicon wafers, and piezoelectric elements between the upper- and lower-part electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
