摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for suppressing influence of a difference in a vehicle speed to improve driving force responsiveness, in a vehicular power transmission device having electric motors connected to an engine. <P>SOLUTION: When a charging restriction decision means 96 decides that required engine output P<SB>ER</SB>cannot be generated in the engine 8 due to the restriction on generation power of a first electric motor M1, a third electric motor control means 98 executes third electric motor discharge control for generating third electric motor torque T<SB>M3</SB>under another condition. Accordingly, even at a low vehicle speed, i.e., even when power consumption of a second electric motor M2 is low, the third electric motor M3 functions as a motor, so that the power generated by the first electric motor M1 is consumed, and the restriction on the generation power of the first electric motor M1 is relaxed or eliminated. Thereby, the power generated by the first electric motor M1 is prevented from being largely restricted by the vehicle speed, and the required engine output P<SB>ER</SB>can be generated in the engine 8 to improve the driving force responsiveness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
