<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation management system having a non-stop road traffic control function for a vehicle whose operation route is determined in advance, such as a route bus. <P>SOLUTION: This system is configured of a center device having route information of a vehicle whose operation is managed and various pieces of information necessary for calculating traveling conditions for the vehicle to pass through each intersection without stop during a green light; and an in-vehicle unit having a vehicle location specification function. The center device acquires specific spot passage information from the in-vehicle unit, specifies the intersection through which the vehicle is to pass the next, and calculates traveling conditions for the vehicle to pass through the next intersection without stop during a green light, and notifies the vehicle of the result, and starts traveling toward the next intersection under the notified traveling conditions. After the vehicle starts traveling, the center device acquires time information elapsed after the vehicle passes through the specific spot from the in-vehicle unit and traveling distance information each time a predetermined time passes, and calculates corrected traveling conditions, and notifies the vehicle of the result each time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
