<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation-starter device of an engine can smoothly start an engine of an aircraft without using a power converter or a rotating machine can output large starting torque, and can stably switch the rotating machine from a starter motor to a power generator. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation-starter device is provided with the rotating machine 1 serving both as the power generator driven by the engine E of the aircraft and the starter motor starting the engine of the aircraft, a power transmitting mechanism 2 connecting the engine E and the rotating machine 1, a starter driving device 3 feeding power to the rotating machine 1 upon start-up and driving this rotating machine 1 as the starter motor, a clutch mechanism 4 cutting off the power transmission from the engine E to the power transmitting mechanism 2 upon start-up, and a clutch control section 7 bringing the clutch mechanism 4 into a connected state when the rotating machine 1 reaches a prescribed rotational speed capable of starting the engine E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
