<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-load tap changer which suitably control opening/closing operation of a contact and eliminates a fault caused by sludge production. <P>SOLUTION: The on-load tap changer includes a container 23 filled with insulating oil and a changeover opening/closing unit 22 arranged at the container 23. The changeover opening/closing unit 22 has a contact 60 where a load current flows, and makes and breaks the contact 60. The changeover opening/closing unit 22 further has a movable portion 67 which rotates as the contact 60 is made and broken and a dummy metal portion 71 fixed to the movable portion 67. The dummy metal portion 71 is formed of a metal material which reacts with a sulfur compound contained in the insulating oil, and captures a sulfide produced through the reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
