PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and a winding device capable of sufficiently restraining generation of a void by trapping air when sticking an adhesive layer to a coating body, by sufficiently restraining transfer of a winding trace to the adhesive layer, when winding a rugged long size film in a roll shape. SOLUTION: This method for winding the recessed-projecting long size film in the roll shape, is a long size film winding method comprising a winding process of winding the long size film in the roll shape, a measuring process of measuring a roll diameter of the film wound in the roll shape and winding tension, and a control process of controlling so as to reduce the winding tension to an initial value of the winding tension as increasing in the roll diameter of the wound film measured by the measuring process, and controlling the winding tension in 8-15 N when the roll diameter of the wound film becomes 200 mm with the initial value of the winding tension as 10-20 N in the control process.
