PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separation apparatus which separates suspended solids contained in raw water in a separation tank from the raw water easily in a short time. SOLUTION: The solid-liquid separation apparatus is provided with the separation tank 11a separating inflow raw water into the suspended solids and treated water, an inflow pipe 13 installed on the outer side from the center of the separation tank 11a so as to rotate the inflow raw water in the separation tank 11a, a fine bubble generator 14 generating fine bubbles and supplying the amount of the fine bubbles required for reducing the specific gravity of the raw water below that of water into the raw water before being introduced into the separation tank 11a, a sludge discharge pipe 15 discharging suspended solids having a specific gravity larger than that of the fine bubble-containing raw water and precipitating in the separation tank 11a, and a treated water discharge pipe 17 discharging the treated water, obtained by removing the suspended solids from the raw water, from the separation tank 11a.
