<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device having a simple structure can impart an operational feeling when operating a shift lever. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a shift lever 24 is operated along the shift direction (the direction of arrows A1, A2) to change a shift position, a first projecting part 44B of a first leaf spring 44 is elastically deformed, and a lever 26 of the shift lever 24 can ride over the first projecting part 44B while an elastic force is applied to the first projecting part 44B. Furthermore, when the shift lever 24 is operated along the select direction (the direction of arrows B1, B2) to change the shift position, a second projecting part 46A of a second leaf spring 46 integrated with the first leaf spring 44 is elastically deformed, and the lever 26 of the shift lever 24 can ride over the second projecting part 46A while the elastic force is applied to the second projecting part 46A.
