<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing hardening in a nozzle of a droplet discharge type dispenser by which the hardening in the nozzle is surely prevented with a simple method and configuration and an apparatus for preventing the hardening in the nozzle of the droplet discharge type dispenser. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The nozzle of the droplet discharge type dispenser is dipped in a solvent pot when not used and is pulled up from the solvent pot when used and wiped and then used to prevent the discharge defect caused by the liquid accumulation at the tip of the nozzle.
