<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the drawing device and the drawing method of middle piston of coal pulverizer for drastically shortening an inspection period by drawing only a middle piston without removing a roller cover. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The drawing device of middle piston 200 comprises: a plurality of stud bolts 210 each of which has an end fixed to the upper end part 202 of the middle piston 120 and is extended in the drawing direction 204 of the middle piston 120; a fixation plate 220 into which the other end of each of the plurality of stud bolts 210 is inserted and is fixed; a plurality of jacks 230 which are disposed between the fixation plate 220 and the roller cover 140, have an equal height in the drawing direction 204, extend by the same length at the same time to push up the fixation plate 220, and thereby, draw the middle piston 120.
