<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the inside diameter in a condition that each pair of distance measuring devices provided in each cylinder hole of a biaxial cylinder is put in a noncontact manner with the inner wall. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This measuring unit of the inside diameter of the cylinder is so constituted that a truck (5) in the biaxial cylinder (2) is enabled to travel by the medium of wheels (6), and that each pair of distance measuring devices (10) provided on the truck (5) is moved in the longitudinal direction, in a noncontact manner with the inside of each of the cylinder holes (3 and 4) of the cylinder (2); and thereby the inside diameter of each of the cylinder holes (3 and 4) can be measured accurately.
