PASSIVE HAPTIC DEVICE USING RHEOLOGICAL FLUID AND HAPTIC PROVIDING METHOD USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A passive haptic device using rheological fluid and a haptic providing method using thereof are provided to offer quick response to a user of an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A position sensing unit(150) outputs a contact position signal sensing a contact of a user. The rheological fluid are filled inside fluid tubes(200). The fluid tube has a predetermined pliability. A haptic unit(170) is equipped in the lower part of the location perception part. Multiple fluid tubes are arranged in the haptic unit. The controller approves electricity to some of the fluid tubes based on the contract position signal of location perception part. The controller changes the intensity of the fluid tubes.
