<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device for removing noise from a pixel signal by using a same correlated double sampling means in both continuous mode and reset mode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device 1 includes an imaging part 90 and a reset circuit 10, and includes dummy pixels 6, 7 which are not provided with a function for receiving incident light. In the reset mode, the correlated double sampling circuits 8, 9 carry out correlated double sampling based on photo charge voltages and reset voltages read from pixels 2-5. In the continuous mode, the correlated double sampling circuits 8, 9 carry out the correlated double sampling based on photo charge voltages read from the pixels 2-5 and reference voltages read from the dummy pixels 6, 7.
