PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip capable of clipping biological tissues again and securely ligating in a clamping process from a temporal clamping to a full clamping. SOLUTION: The clip is an arched spring elastic body, which comprises a clip indwelling part 1 including a tip nail part 11 to ligate the biological tissues and an engagement base part 14 to be connected with the tip of a clip base end part 2 that is made of a pair of members to be left in a body after ligation of body tissues, and an engagement tip part to be connected with the engagement base part 14. Releasing a connection with the clip indwelling part 1 after the ligation of the body tissues allows the clip base end part 2 made of a pair of members to be retrieved out of the body, and a clamping ring 3 that is covered with the clip base end part 2 and slides outer surfaces of the clip indwelling part 1 and the clip base end part 2 so that the clip indwelling part 1 could be openable/closable is to be left in the body after the ligation of the body tissues. An engagement strength adjusting means 80 to express a strength/weakness of the engagement by sliding the clamping ring 3 is provided on an engagement part of the engagement base part 14 and the engagement tip part.
