<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical running control device reducing the execution of economic running control contrary to user's will. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The economical running control device has a means for monitoring the state of an IG switch 27; a means for performing communication with a plurality of nodes receiving feeding of power feeding from an IG wire 33 connected to a battery 11 through the IG switch 27; and a means for detecting switching from an on-state to an off-state of the IG switch 27 and initializing data regarding the economical running stored in a RAM 53 when it is determined that communication with at least two or more of nodes of the plurality of nodes is stopped.
