Provided is a system for pretreating sample which can unplug a sample container with a rubber plug and a sample container with a resin plug in the same unplug unit. A system for pretreating sample having a sample rack which can mount sample containers with a plug, and a conveyance line for conveying the sample rack is characterized in that an unplug unit constituted of a clamp mechanism for holding the sample container with a plug at the time of unplugging, and a plug chuck mechanism for chucking the plug of a sample container with a plug held by the clamp mechanism and unplugging the sample container is provided, and the plug chuck mechanism can unplug a sample container with a rubber plug and a sample container with a resin plug. More specifically, an unplug chuck having a shape suitable for unplugging a sample container with a rubber plug and an unplug chuck having a shape suitable for unplugging a sample container with a resin plug are arranged in combination in the plug chuck mechanism.
