<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the stabilization of an initial ball by freely controlling a discharge current after insulation breakdown between the front edge of a wire and a discharge electrode in concert with the forming process of a ball. <P>SOLUTION: A discharging time from the discharge start to the discharge stop of a current flowing between the wire and the discharge electrode is divided into at least one or more blocks, a discharge current profile for each block is calculated with a function designated from a start current value, a stop current value, and a duration time in each block of the discharging time, based on the discharge current profile of each block calculated when in discharging, the discharge current is made to be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
