<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from infiltrating into an electronic control unit through the wire strands of the wire harness, in connecting a connector of the electronic control unit and that of a wire harness terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A relay connector, connected with a connector, in a housing in insertion-coupling with a connector jointing port formed in the housing of the electronic control unit, is divided into a first connector insertion-coupling part insertion-coupled with the connector, and a second connector insertion-coupled part which is insertion-coupled with a wire harness side connector, connected to the wire harness terminal with a partitioning wall part, with a relay terminal penetrated into the partitioning wall part of the relay connector. Electrical contact parts at either end of each relay terminal are made protruded at the first and the second connector insertion-coupled parts, and at the same time, a water cutoff agent is filled in either or both parts of the first and the second connector insertion-coupled parts in contact with the partitioning wall part, and a part other than the electrical contact parts of the relay terminal is buried in the water cutoff agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
