<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash window which improves designability by harmonizing the whole frame body, even if an opening and closing device is provided, and which improves heat insulating properties. <P>SOLUTION: In this sash window, a sliding screen 2 is openably/closably housed in the frame body 1 which is provided in an opening of a building, and the opening and closing device 6 for opening and closing the sliding screen 2 is installed on the indoor side of the sill 11 of the frame body 1, which faces the downside of the sliding screen 2. In the sill 11, a resin frame 11b is arranged on the indoor side of a metal frame 11a; an opening and closing device storage portion 30 for housing the opening and closing device 6 is provided on the indoor side of the sill 11; and the resin frame 11b constituting the sill 11 comprises a covering portion 32 which constitutes a surface exposed on the indoor side of the opening and closing device storage portion 30, and a wire screen holding portion 33 which holds an edge of the wire screen 7 arranged on the indoor side of the sliding screen 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
