PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator structure which enhanced assemblability, and to provide a method for manufacturing a stator. SOLUTION: A stator structure includes a flat type conductor coil 13 which is formed by winding a conductor, an insulator 12 formed of an insulating material, and a split laminated steel plate 10 formed by laminating magnetic steel sheets, wherein the insulator 12 has a portion 12d turned down to the side of the split plane 10a of the laminated steel plate 10, the laminated steel plate 10 has a recess 10b corresponding to the thickness of the turned-down portion 12d in the side surface, and the turned-down portion 12d forms a plane continuous to the split plane 10a of the laminated steel plate 10 in a state where the insulator 12 is arranged thereon.
