PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor attaching/detaching structure of a house and a remodeling method for the house for not only changing an open ceiling state into a double layer state provided with a floor easily but also changing the double layer state into the open ceiling state very easily and achieving a sufficiently opened ceiling in the open ceiling state. SOLUTION: This floor attaching/detaching structure 1 of the house can remodel its interior into the open ceiling state opening an opening and closing region 4 between an upper story and a lower story or the double layer state closing the opening and closing region 4. This structure 1 is provided with an edge beam 6 supported on a skeleton of the house 2 and arranged along an edge part of the opening and closing region 4, an intermediate beam 14 fixing both of its ends on the edge beam 6 detachably and provided in the opening and closing region 4 in the double layer state, a plurality of floor members 5 having end parts put on the edge part of the opening and closing region 4 and the intermediate beam 14 detachably in the double layer state, and a handrail 7 or a partitioning wall 8 fixed detachably on the edge part along the edge part of the opening and closing region 4 in the open ceiling state.
