<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of preventing an end face of a plunger from being attracted without damaging a regulating member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 10 has a stopper 25 for regulating a movement of the plunger 23 to a core section side by hitting (butting) an end face 47 of a core section 40 by assembling on a shaft 24 inserted into an insertion hole 23b of a core section side end face 23a of the plunger 23. A circular recessed section 24a with a width wider than the stopper 25 is formed on an outer peripheral surface in the vicinity of the core section side end face 23a of the shaft 24. An inner peripheral section of the stopper 25 is movably connected with the circular recessed section 24a in the axial direction, and its one side face 25a is assembled on the shaft 24 so as to bring into contact with the core section side end face 23a of the plunger 23.
