PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type kiln system capable of discharging sufficiently cooled products after performing sufficient and constant burning all the time before discharge of materials. SOLUTION: A discharge cylindrical body 23 is provided with a resistance member 31 penetrated through the peripheral wall of the discharge cylindrical body 23 to extend to the radial direction and capable of reciprocating in the radial direction and with a temperature sensor 32 for detecting the temperature of a material M within the discharge cylindrical body 23. When the detection temperature of the material M by the temperature sensor 32 is higher than a predetermined set temperature, the resistance member 31 is made to advance toward the radial inner direction to increase a contact area with the material M to regulate lowering of the material M. When the detection temperature is lower than the predetermined set temperature, the resistance member 31 is made to retract toward the radial outer direction to reduce the contact area to ease the regulation of lowering of the material M.
