PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reasonably arrange a power transmission device for distributing a driving force on an axle. SOLUTION: This device includes a connection hollow shaft 7 and a transmission intermediate shaft 9 rotatably supported by a distribution case 5 arranged in parallel to each other, and capable of being interlocked by helical spur gears 25, 26, and a rear wheel side output shaft 11 rotatably supported by the distribution case 5, crossing with the transmission intermediate shaft 9, interlocked with the transmission intermediate shaft 9 by a ring gear 27 and a pinion gear 32, and capable of outputting power. The connection hollow shaft 7 is fitted with the axle, and a diameter of the helical spur gear 26 of the transmission intermediate shaft 9 is made larger than that of the helical spur gear 25 of the connection hollow shaft 7.
