The invention relates to a support on which a set of probes is arranged, wherein the set comprises: (a) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for fucosyl transferases,(b) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for galactosyl transferases, (c) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for acetylglucosaminyl transferases, (d) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for acetylalactosaminyl transferases, (e) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for sialyl transferases, (f) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for sugar-sulfo transferases, (g) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for lectins, (h) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for selectins, (i) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for fucosidases, (j) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for neuraminidases (sialidases), (k) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for nucleotide sugar epimerases, (I) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for sugar kinases, (m) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for sugar epimerases, (n) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for sugar transporters, and (o) probes, which can specifically hybridise with nucleic acids which code for enzymes of the fucose or sialinic acid metabolism. The invention further relates to a kit comprising said probes and the use of said support or kit for the quantitative determination of expression profiles in a sample taken from a cell, tissue or organism. The invention furthermore relates to a diagnostic composition and the use of said sets of probes for the production of diagnostic compositions or a diagnostic device for the diagnosis of tumours, inflammatory and/or neurological diseases. |
