The gas flow diverts and entrains during the operation of the interior burner in the radial direction of the coating particles in stack direction of the cylindrical cavity, which has a radial level. The flow nozzles are arranged in the area of an orthogonal ring-shaped step surface. The device comprises an interior burner (2), a cylindrical cavity (3) within which the interior burner is arranged, flow nozzles, which are subjected with gas pressure and positioned and aligned in the cylindrical cavity so that it produces a gas flow parallel to the axis of the cylindrical cavity. The gas flow diverts and entrains during the operation of the interior burner in the radial direction of the coating particles in stack direction of the cylindrical cavity, which has a radial level. The flow nozzles are arranged in the area of an orthogonal ring-shaped step surface directed to the wall (5) of the cavity and produce gas flows parallel to the wall of the cylindrical cavity. The device is placed on a cylinder bore (4) of a motor block to be coated. The device has a radial groove (11) bent towards its interior. The radial groove is formed concave to the flow nozzles having step-surfaces and the gas flow diverts from the flow nozzles. The groove has through-openings directed in its groove base transverse to the axis of the cylindrical hollow area so that the gas flow partially diverts from the flow nozzles and partially flows through the through-openings in the cavity. The flow nozzles are distributed uniformly in circumference direction on the ring-shaped step-surface and are connected to an aerating system. The device is components of an arc wire burner and is formed from metal. A control arrangement is intended, which controls a gas flow in the device. A separate suction device is intended, which produces a gas flow parallel to the axis of the cylindrical cavity and draws coating particles.
