<p>Provided are a light source device and a display device wherein generation of wrinkles and warpage of a sheet-like or film-like optical member is eliminated or suppressed. A light source device (2b) is provided with sheet-like or film-like optical members (26a, 26b, 26c) for adjusting characteristics of transmitting light, and a chassis (11b) having such sheet-like or film-like optical members (26a, 26b, 26c) mounted thereon. The chassis (11b) is vertically movable and has a plurality of engaging protruding sections (hooks) (114a, 114b, 114c) which are urged upward, in a normal state, by an urging means. A plurality of through engaging holes (261) are formed in the vicinity of an upper side of the sheet-like or film-like optical members (26a, 26b, 26c) in a normal state. The sheet-like or film-like optical members (26a, 26b, 26c) are suspended when each of the engaging protruding sections (114a, 114b, 114c) arranged on the chassis (11b) engages with each of the engaging holes (261).</p> |
