<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system which reduces the whole communication time and is excellent in responsiveness by reducing communication frequencies by allowing simultaneous transmission from transmission antennas of on-board equipment by a smart entry/start system. <P>SOLUTION: An on-board equipment remote controller has an operation control means for transmitting interrogation signals with low frequency radiowave from the transmission antennas 11, 12 of an on-board machine 10 to a portable machine 50, and for controlling an operating state of the on-board equipment when validation processing is performed by acknowledgement signals to be returned from the portable machine which receives the interrogation signals. When the interrogation signals are simultaneously transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas 11a-11c, 12a-12d of the on-board machine, a pair of transmission antennas in which part of communication areas is overlapped transmits the interrogation signals by carrier waves in which mutual phases are shifted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
