摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely charge a capacitor in a motor drive circuit using high-side and low-side switching elements and a bootstrap capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter 2 having a high-side FET and a low-side FET for performing drive/regeneration control of a motor M is provided, and each operation pattern in driving and regenerating each FET is generated with an operation pattern generation circuit 27, and a PWM control signal is generated with a PWM signal generation circuit 26. When the motor M is driven, the high-side switching element is PWM-controlled, and the low-side switching element is always kept turned on, allowing the low-side switching element to form a current route for charging the capacitor. When the motor M is regenerated, the low-side switching element is PWM-controlled, and the high-side switching element is always kept turned off to form a current route for charging the capacitor when the low-side switching element is turned on under PWM control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
