<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material mark sensor which quickly operates in actuation to easily be adjustable. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the material mark sensor, a camera sensor and an evaluation logical unit coupled with this camera sensor are prepared. The camera sensor scans any mark existing on a part of material surface by means of at least scanning line system, while the evaluation logical unit includes a plurality of logical elements mutually combined by fixed setting to output material mark identifying signal suited for the material mark position, when any mark was detected on a part of material surface scanned by the camera sensor.
