PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permeation scatter type turbidimeter, capable of controlling a converter or a silicon photodiode on the light receiving side within the specifications and of performing longtime measurement, even if measurement liquid is used as an electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: This turbidimeter includes a measurement liquid tank which stores the measurement liquid, a flood light part which emits a measurement light flux to near the center of the measurement liquid tank, a light-receiving part which receives dispersion light generated, when the measurement light flux penetrates the measurement liquid, and a power supply part, and measures the turbidity of the measurement liquid based on the magnitude of magnitude of the dispersion light.
