<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive transferring device can vary thickness of an adhesive film that is formed, with no replacement of components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An adhesive film is formed on a transfer surface 16A by horizontally moving, relatively, an adhesive housing part 18 which houses an adhesive and the transfer surface 16A of a transfer plate 16 while they are slid on each other. The adhesive film is impregnated with a transfer object so that the adhesive is transferred on the transfer object. The adhesive housing part 18 includes a pair of gates 34 and 36. The pair of gates 34 and 36 are arranged symmetrically about the central plane that halves the adhesive housing part 18 in the movement direction of the transfer plate 16. By rotating the gates 34 and 36 around rotational axes 42 and 44 in the horizontal direction that is orthogonal to the moving direction of the transfer plate 16, a gap is provided between its lower end part and the transfer surface 16A.
