<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain vehicle speed information independent of differences between individual drivers such as identification or mood of individual drivers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle drive supporting system, a vehicle 10 includes a vehicle drive information collection part 11 which collects vehicle speed and position for each vehicle. Further, in a vehicle drive supporting system, a server 20 includes an unnecessary-data removing part 31, a most-frequent-value arithmetic part 32, and a data correction part 33, three parts constituting a most-frequent-value acquirement means which obtains vehicle speed indicating the most high degree in distribution of vehicle speed of vehicles driving in same traveling section as vehicle speed information in that traveling section, on the basis of the vehicle speed and position of each vehicle obtained from the vehicle drive information collection part 11; and a data read/write part 34, a map database 21, and a communication part 22, three parts being used for providing the vehicle with the vehicle speed obtained through association with the traveling section.
