<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video viewing facility using a light emitting display for displaying a high quality image without making a room dark. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The video viewing facility 10 converts a circularly-polarized light emitted from a circularly-polarized light source 12 into a linearly-polarized light to be absorbed by an absorbing linear polarizer 14 through a wavelength plate 13, causes the absorbing linear polarizer 14 to absorb the linearly-polarized light, and prevents the linearly-polarized light from reaching a light emitting panel 15.
