Method for washing textiles in the presence of a peroxygenated bleaching agent and a bleach boosting transition metal complex, is claimed, where the method is carried out in a water hardness of 0-3[deg] dH (degree of hardness). An independent claim is included for a textile care detergent comprising peroxygenated bleaching agent, bleach boosting transition metal complex or one or more ligands, which form the bleach boosting transition metal complex with transition metal complex in the washing process, and cation complexing-, cation exchange- or cation carrying substances.
