PURPOSE: An electro-optical device and an electronic device are provided to offer a touch panel function of which detection sensitivity for an indicator is enhanced without being affected by the intensity of an external light. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixel parts is formed in a display region on a substrate. A light receiving element(191) is formed in the display region. The light receiving element shows the light receiving sensibility for the incident visible ray which is incident in the display surface. A second light receiving element(192) is formed in the display region. The second light receiving element shows the light receiving sensibility for the incident infrared ray which is incident on the display region. A detecting apparatus detects an indicator which supports the display region based on the light receiving sensibility for the incident infrared ray or the incident visible ray. |
