PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical distribution container managing system for allowing each supplier to quickly keep information regarding physical distribution containers while the information does not become known among other suppliers.

SOLUTION: A plurality of basic point terminals PT1 existing on a physical distribution route transmit to a server device SA identification information T for the physical distribution containers existing on basic points, and then the server device manages the locations of the physical distribution containers in accordance with the received information. It is provided with: a database for registering information for the plurality of basic points belonging to communities and information for users with respect to the plurality of different communities; an authenticating means for performing user authenticating processing for terminal devices UT1 accessing via a network installation NW; a means for specifying the community to which the authenticated user belongs, with reference to the database; and a providing means for providing the terminal devices with information limited to the basic points belonging to the specified community, out of information regarding the physical distribution containers.
