PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of a vehicle by controlling driving force precisely and favorably in precision in all traveling scenes of starting, straight traveling and turning. SOLUTION: Demand engine torque Tdrv of the driver in accordance with the accelerator openingθA is computed at a demand engine torque computing part 2 on the driving force control device 1. A first torque down quantity computing part 3 computes first torque down quantity T1over in accordance with at least a road surface friction coefficientμ, a second torque down quantity computing part 4 computes second torque down quantity T2over in accordance with body sliding angle speed (dβ/dt), and a controlled variable setting part 5 subtracts the first torque down quantity T1over and the second torque down quantity T2over from the demand engine torque Tdrv and outputs it as a controlled variable Treq to an engine control part 16.
