PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion type pressure-sensitive adhesive composition exhibiting excellent water resistance when the coated material thereof on a foam sheet base material is stuck to a non-polar body. SOLUTION: The water dispersion type pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes an acrylic polymer emulsion (A) and an adhesiveness-imparting resin emulsion (B) at a specified ratio. The acrylic polymer emulsion (A) is obtained by performing emulsion polymerization of 100 pts.wt. monomer mixture containing respectively specified quantities of alkyl acrylate (a) having a 2-14C alkyl, polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid (b) and alkyl methacrylate (c) whose homopolymer has 20 to 110°C glass transition temperature in an aqueous medium in the presence of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. reactive surfactant (d) having an ethylenically unsaturated group copolymerizable with (a) to (c). The adhesiveness-imparting resin emulsion (B) is obtained by emulsifying an adhesiveness-imparting resin in the presence of an emulsifier. The coated body has the water dispersion type pressure-sensitive adhesive composition as a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface of the foam sheet base material.
