PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a silicone composition that enhances thermal shock resistance while maintaining high transparency and high hardness possessed by the composition. SOLUTION: Silicone polymer particles (A) include a structure in which (A-1) a silicone particle core is coated with (A-2) an alkoxysilane condensate shell having an alkenyl group. The silicone composition comprises the silicone polymer particle, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two hydrosilyl groups in the molecule, (C) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in the molecule and (D) a hydrosilylation catalyst.
