PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pipes each applied with beading processing so that a coupler for airtightness checking may not be disconnected from the pipe when checking the airtightness of a high-pressure resistant sealed container, which pipes can be also used for a conventional coupler exclusively for a straight pipe. SOLUTION: In order to check the airtightness of the sealed container exposed to high pressure, the coupler for checking the airtightness of the sealed container is connected to the portion of the pipe where the beading processing is applied (a cord-like protrusion is provided along the periphery of the pipe). Because of existence of the portion where the beading processing is applied, it becomes necessary to modify the shape of a coupler to be used in other steps (such as evacuation or oil injection). But by restricting the position where the beading processing should be applied, the coupler of the conventional type which are used in other steps can be used without the modification.
