PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank capable of securing seal between a pair of adjacent members. SOLUTION: In a high-pressure tank 10, a neighboring part 22 of a liner 18 and a projecting part 34 of a mouthpiece 28 are provided adjacent to each other, and an O-ring 38 for sealing the neighboring part 22 and the adjacent part of the projecting part 34 is installed in each of ring grooves 36 of the projecting part 34. Hardness of a backup ring 24 provided inside the neighboring part 22 of the linear 18 is formed higher than that of the liner 18. Deformation of the neighboring part 22 by each of the O-rings 38 is thereby restricted to sufficiently compress each of the O-rings 38, and seal between the liner 18 and the mouthpiece 28 can be secured. When the pressure inside the high-pressure tank 10 is raised, even if the mouthpiece 28 is extruded outside and the projecting part 34 of the mouthpiece 28 is shrunken for deformation inside in the radial direction by the stress, each of the O-rings 38 maintains seal condition of the projecting part 34 and the neighboring part 22.
