PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prestress major structural parts without the need to cut out the structure in part. SOLUTION: A prestressing material to which tension is applicable is fixed to a slab 12 by means of a fixing unit 6. The fixing unit 6 has a member to fix the prestressing material at one end and has the other end installed by a pin connection using prestressing bars 14 at a position just near a wall 13 that has traditionally been an obstacle to installing the prestressing material.
