<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a roasting cooker provided with a roasting plate 5 rectangular in a plan view and a burner 6 for heating the roasting plate from a lower part, in which cooking using a pot can be performed with a good heat efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The burner 6 is long in front and rear directions and has burner ports 61 on both lateral sides and arranged under the roasting plate 5 at the center in a lateral direction. The roasting plate 5 has an external frame 51 which has a side parts 511 on both lateral sides, side parts on front and rear sides, a lengthwise beam part 513 and a plurality of plate bodies 52. The lengthwise beam part 513 is arranged at a lateral center and extends between the side parts on the front and rear sides so as to cover a part where the burner 6 is arranged from above. Openings 515 are formed between the lengthwise beam part 513 of the external frame 51 and each side part 511 on the lateral side. The plate bodies 52 are removably mounted to the external frame 51 so as to cover the openings 515. Gaps are formed under the side parts 511 on both lateral sides for discharging combustion gas.
