Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for treating a neurological disorder associated with excessive neuronal excitability (e.g., epilepsy). Methods disclosed herein comprise administering to a subject in need of such treatment an antiepileptic drug solution comprising a therapeutically effective amount of an antiepileptic drug (e.g., a toxin that inhibits the exocytosis of neurotransmitters, excitotoxins, etc.) using convection-enhanced delivery (CED).
