The actuator (1) has a lever (11) exercising a variable actuating force for actuating a friction clutch (2) and subjected to an energy storage (4). A fulcrum (13) of the lever is formed by a spindle (18) rotated by a drive along a roll unit (14). The roll unit is held up at a baseplate (16) against the effect of the energy storage, where the spindle is tiltably arranged and limited opposite to the baseplate. The turning takes place at the baseplate around a level of an axial support i.e. axial-thrust bearing, of the spindle. The bearing is taken up for providing a clearance at the baseplate.
