GATEWAY FOR CONVERTING MESSAGE PROTOCOL BETWEEN MOST NETWORK AND IEBUS NETWORK AND METHOD OF CONVERTING PROTOCOL USING THEREROF

PURPOSE: A gateway for converting a message protocol between a MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) network and an IEBUS(Inter Equipment BUS) network and a method of converting a protocol using the same are provided to convert a message protocol for associating a device controlled by an IEBUS in a vehicle to which the MOST network is applied. CONSTITUTION: A net service(102) transmits an identifier of a service providing unit and a MOST command for controlling the service providing unit to a MOST function block(103). The MOST function block judges whether the MOST command delivered from the net service is available. The MOST function block delivers the MOST command and an identifier of the service providing unit to an IEBUS manager(104). The IEBUS manager converts the MOST command and the identifier of the service providing unit into a message according to an IEBUS protocol. The IEBUS manager delivers a message according to the converted IEBUS protocol to the service providing unit.
